Hi, I’m Alyson — wife, mom of two, and the heart behind Precious Parables.

I created Precious Parables because I wanted my kids to see Jesus in everyday life, not just on Sundays. I longed for Bible stories to feel fun, hands-on, and meaningful at home. What started as a simple idea for my own family grew into something so much bigger.

We live in an 1875 historic home where homeschooling, business, and everyday life collide — usually with play-doh, crafts, or nature journals on the kitchen table. It’s a little chaotic, but full of grace.

Along the way, I’ve hosted a women’s devotional group that meets weekly, helped start a PTO, opened a gym for kids, supported local sports and 4H kids at the county fair, and volunteered at churches because I believe in investing in the next generation.

Precious Parables Subscription Box is an extension of that same heart. Whether your family is rooted in faith or just beginning the journey, my hope is that these boxes help bring the stories of Jesus into your home in ways your kids will enjoy and remember.
